Ivonne Aguilera’s Biography
Ivonne Aguilera is a Mexican lawyer focusing her expertise on corporate matters, Mergers & Acquisitions, Real Estate and Compliance.
Ms. Aguilera has helped many multinational companies to establish their business in Mexico and close transactions related to sale of assets, restructures, mergers, spin-offs, joint ventures, among others.
Her probono work includes being legal advisor of the Mexican Revolution Museum Board of Trustees since 2009 and of Fundación Axcel, A.C. (2018 to date).
She obtained her J.D. from Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua with honors, and her Master of Laws (LL.M) from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law.
She has experience has in-house counsel of a Mexican bank and worked for a worldwide law firm for 12 years. Currently, she is the Juarez office director of Mexican law firm De Hoyos y Aviles, S.C.
Ms. Aguilera has been recognized as a leader attorney for Mexico in the Corporate area by the Latin American Corporate Counsel Association from 2017 thru 2021.
She speaks fluent English and French.
