Bryan Elwood is Chief Legal Officer at Tricon. Prior to joining Tricon Bryan headed the international trade and customs practice at the law firm of Curtis Mallet-Prevost and Colt & Mosle. Bryan also served as member of Mexico’s global trade negotiation team and was Chief Commercial Counsel for the Embassy of Mexico in Washington D.C. He is a member of the official NAFTA roster of experts that can be selected to resolve unfair trade disputes between nations.
He has published various articles and was Editor in Chief of the NAFTA Arbitration Reports journal. Bryan earned his Law degree from the Iberoamericana University in Mexico City, his LL.M at Georgetown University in Washington D.C., and has taught international trade law at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
